In this dog-eat-dog reality series, 12 dog owners and their pets share living quarters, participate in weekly challenges and compete for a grand cash prize of $250,000.

Greatest American Dog features a judging panel of canine critics, made up of Wendy Diamond, Allan Reznik and Victoria Stilwell who test the owners’ abilities to train their dogs.

In the US, the premiere episode attracted almost 10 million viewers and earned praise from Boston Globe critic Matthew Gilbert who wrote that “The dog-and-owner interplay ranges from the awesome and comic to the cringe-worthy”.
