STAR WORLD opens the video vaults every Tue-Fri and airs condensed, 5-minute episodes of classic TV series.

The beloved 80s sitcom, Diff’rent Strokes centers on wealthy New York widower Phillip Drummond (Conrad Bain) who adopts the two young boys of his late African-American housekeeper.

In this rags-to-riches tale, the siblings, eight-year-old Arnold (Gary Coleman) and 13-year-old Willis (Todd Bridges), settle into their new life with the Park Avenue tycoon, along with his daughter Kimberly (Dana Plato), and their no-nonsense housekeeper (Charlotte Rae). This unconventional family reflected the changing face of America and brought issues of race and class into households around the world.

Fun Fact…Gary Coleman got his big break with a guest role on the sitcom Good Times. After the show’s creator, Norman Lear, saw Coleman, he created Diff’rent Strokes especially for him. Coleman looked younger than his true age due to a congenital kidney condition that affected his growth.

Kanye's Battery Case Dismissed!

Kanye West and his manager Don Crowley were charged with vandalism, battery and grand theft after smashing the camera equipment of two paparazzi at LAX back in September 2008.

The judge told both of them in October 2008 that the case would be dropped if they each showed proof of 50 hours of community service and agreed to enroll in an anger management class.
