Celebrating the best filmmakers and stars in the region, the 4th Asian Film Awards (AFA) will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Topping the list of nominees are Hong Kong’s Bodyguards and Assassins and Korea’s Mother, both scoring six nominations each including best film and best director.
Korean film and Cannes winner Thirst and China’s City Of Life And Death are also favoured winners, receiving four nominations each, also including best film. Other best film contenders in category are the Philippines’ Lola, Taiwan’s No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti and Japan’s Parade.
