Based on W. Bruce Cameron's bestselling book 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, this series stars Katey Sagal (Married… With Children) as Cate Hennessy, a single mother raising three teenage children.

In this third and final season, Cate clashes with her daughters Bridget (Kaley Cuoco) and Kerry (Amy Davidson) when she accepts a job as nurse at their high school.
